For over 25 years, Carrie forged a successful freelance career with projects spanning the editorial spectrum. Specifically, she has written: web content; online
feature stories; print feature stories; newsletters; annual reports; brochures; direct-mail pieces; news releases; pitch letters; media advisories; media kits; marketing and communications plans; and ghost-written books.
Carrie completed these projects for an equally expansive array of clients, including leading health-care corporations, retailers, banks, universities, utilities, and nonprofit organizations. Her skillset further extends to having been a contributing editor at Good Housekeeping, as well as a frequent, featured writer for Ladies’ Home Journal, Family Circle, Parents, and Working Mother. Additionally, Carrie previously wrote a weekly, syndicated column for the Los Angeles Times.
During the first decade of Carrie’s career, she served as vice president of marketing at Summit Health Ltd., and as marketing director of National Medical Enterprises’ Century City Hospital. Additionally, she was an account executive at the international public relations agency Edelman, and a communications specialist with the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
